The Herald Online in South Africa reports on the 30 years it took for a father and son to build a boat.
John Lochhead and his father started working on a yacht in 1977, continuing till his father's death in 1981.
The yacht sat unfinished for over a decade till Lochhead started working on it again. The yacht was finally launched after it was transported by flatbed truck to Port Elizabeth harbour.
Do you have a boat project that took a while to finish? Are you building a boat now? Tell us your story and leave a comment.
